The Institute of Social and Cultural Engineering (ISCE), commonly known as ISCE, is an independent social research think tank based in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India. Established under Article 19(1)(c) of the Constitution of India, the Institute provides a platform for social thinkers, researchers, scholars, writers, and students to share and publish their ideas, perspectives, visions, and writings on various aspects of society and its development. Our journey began in 2023 when we started publishing our work through a Blogspot website. The initiative was originally taken by a group of college students from the Jalpaiguri district who shared a common interest in social research, intellectual discussions, and the exchange of ideas. What began as a small student-led initiative has gradually grown into a wider platform, reaching scholars, writers, and students from different backgrounds. Today, ISCE continues to encourage independent thinking, scholarly contributions, and meaningful discussions on social, cultural, political, economic, and developmental issues. We believe that every well-articulated idea and informed perspective can contribute to a better understanding of society.
